Dichroic Colour Filters

A dichroic colour filter is an optical device that sets apart the light in two components: one transmitted through the glass and the other reflected from it.

In particular for what concerns the visible light the dichroic colour filters can be designed and manufactured to have any colour of the spectrum.

ODL dichroic colour filters are a series of bright colour filters characterised by an excellent chromatic and mechanical stability even at extreme ambient conditions.

The most used substrate is borosilicate glass available in different thickness: 1.1 mm, 2.2 mm, 3.3 mm.

Other types of glass and thickness are possible on demand.
